This is the fourth full-length studio album from Glenn Sutter (sue-ter), a folk-rock who hails from the Canadian prairies. Here's how he describes it:

"The title of this album is a double entendre. In one sense it states a fact, since Rivertime is the band I pulled together a few years ago. I’ve been able to collaborate with many wonderful musicians since I got into songwriting, but there’s something special about this group of guys, so I wanted to capture their creative energy and unique chemistry. At the same time, getting some “rivertime” is an important part of my life. As someone who is often embroiled in social and environmental issues in my day job, I find a measure of solace and security when I get to spend time near a river, lake, even a small creek. This album explores the notion of rivertime from a range of perspectives, from the world being so crazy that people need to get away from it for a while, to the power of love, forgiveness and compassion to add beauty to that world. I hope it adds a little something to yours."
